I looked into the yard of my new home in the Sonoran Desert and I couldn’t identify a single plant. I’m from Illinois and I was lost.

So, I enrolled in the Desert Botanical Garden’s Desert Landscape School. I’ve been researching and writing about Sonoran Desert plants ever since.
