Native Distribution: Southern NV, Western AZ, Southeastern CA, Baja, & Northern Mexico
Size: Unassuming gray/green stems grow vertically to 4’h x 3-4’ w
Flower: Flat-topped clusters of pale yellow flowers top each stem from spring thru fall, followed by 2-4” seed pods
Foliage: Indistinct leaves 2” x 1/8” appear on new growth but quickly drop
Site Preferences: Full sun in well-drained soil
Landscape Uses: A strong vertical accent in the landscape; works well in a courtyard or poolside; creates contrast when planted with succulents & cacti; good in natural settings and for revegetation
